Honor Texas Troops is committed to maintaining the privacy of personal information that you provide to us when submitting an application for honoring a soldier. This Privacy Policy describes how we treat personal information received when you choose to accept our Services.

Our affiliated websites are not subject to this Privacy Policy. We recommend that you review the privacy policy at each such website to determine how that site protects your privacy.

If you are not the soldier for which you are submitting a profile for, you must have permission to submit that soldier's personal information before completing either the online or mailed submission form. Honor Texas Troops will not be held responsible for information submitted by persons without authority to to do so. Any and all legal actions will be directed to the person submitting the information without permission.

Honor Texas Troops will remove any profile if requested by the soldier, by an immediate family member of a deceased soldier, or by legal representation of the soldier.

By submitting an application form, either online or by mail, you consent to the privacy policy listed on this page. To refuse acceptance of this policy, do not submit a the 'Honor a Soldier' form. This includes clicking submit during the online submission process and mailing a printed copy of the form to us.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT:

General: When you submit an application, and at other times, we will collect personal identifiable information from you that may include your name, the name of a soldier (if different), names of family members, soldier military information, phone number, e-mail address, and other facts about you and/or a soldier you know. We do not, however, knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of eighteen.

Surveys: We may conduct occasional online surveys to allow us to provide better services. These surveys are entirely voluntary and you may easily decline to participate.

Website Usage Information: We automatically collect IP addresses and website usage information from you when you visit our Internet website. This information is used for internal purposes only, including the number and frequency of visitors to each web page, and the length of their visits.
